Yes indeed, we’ve certainly been keeping ourselves busy! Lots of planning going on for the Tunbridge Wells Poetry Festival this year, and while not quite ready to share the news yet we have our first couple of events booked and very exciting they are too. In the meantime, this month (March) is the month for getting event proposals in, so if you’re planning on submitting an event nip across to the website and sign up NOW. You’ll also find links for volunteering and for signing up a venue if you have a space you would like our poets to fill.
In Flitt & Folio news, we will be getting some airplay on BBC Radio Kent tomorrow night (Monday 14th March), and are guest readers at the wonderful Poetry Cafe’s event for World Poetry Day at the Print House Theatre in Eastbourne on Sunday 20th. We’ll also have some Voices open mic news soon, as open mics and poets in pubs are definitely on the menu as the poetry festival gets into full swing. All that and more, and we didn’t even mention April’s panto yet! (whaaaaa?)
