We are so happy to be returning to Tunbridge Wells High Street, where we hosted our first Voices evenings years ago. Our aim has always been to offer a platform for writers and musicians to share their original material in an informal and open atmosphere, seasoned with a liberal sprinkling of humour. That has not changed. What has changed is the management of the venue, so we were thrilled to be invited to The Lodge Coffee House, Kitchen & Bar (formerly Javabean) on Friday 21st July. If you’d like to sample the food menu, arrive before 8.00. After that, the mic (and of course the bar!) will be open to all, so bring your words, your ears and your friends along to enjoy – who knows what? It’s an open mic, after all! But we have insider info and we know there will be some great entertainment on offer.
Singer-songwriters, poets, spoken word artists, comedians, story-tellers – this is for you! Mic available for voice only – acoustic guitar fine. Contact us to pre-book performance slots. Approx 4 minutes each, but repeat slots available unless it’s mobbed. We look forward to seeing – and hearing – you there.
