Well as you can see from the poster below, we’re back at one of our favourite Voices haunts, The Leicester Arms in Penshurst, but this time with some new friends in tow and a few tweaks to the format of our previous themed events. While words and humour will, as always, be key elements of the evening’s entertainment we’ll be taking the musical side of things slightly more seriously by asking our special guests to do the honours. Not so much a Voices evening, then, as a shared variety stage that will hopefully be the first of many similar outings for “The Infamous Five”, as we are billing ourselves until we think of something better.
Paul Stepto, for his sins, has been performing alongside and with us since our very first public engagement at Scallywags in Tunbridge Wells, and it was here too that we first met John and Di Cullen, who have been delighting us with their performances ever since. Voices stalwarts will have a good idea what is in store, but we very much hope to make some new friends too, so if you haven’t taken the plunge yet then Friday the 13th is a date for your diaries in more ways than one!
By the way, did I mention yet that this full evening of BRILLIANT entertainment is ABSOLUTELY FREE? Well that was remiss of me, wasn’t it? But it is. ABSOLUTELY FREE!
