Hello again, how the divvil are you? In fine fettle, we hope, and ready for some open mic fun with us at the Mad Dog Brewery Tap on Thursday 14th, when we’ll be rolling out the red carpet for our first special guest, Paul Stepto.
More on that below, but let’s first offer a HUGE thankyou to all who came out for our “sprout” festival show last month and helped us raise just shy of £100 for Guide Dogs UK. Hattie, Ivor’s Guide Dog, will be topping up the ‘just shy’ element from her kibble allowance, and her Just Giving page will be updated accordingly as soon as the cheque clears. Now those who have been paying attention will know that our Special Guest, Paul, is also our regular third wheel when we morph from Flitt and Folio into the Gluten-free Trio. That aside, he has also been performing alongside us as a solo performer or in tandem with Pete Metcalfe since our very first variety show at Scallywags over a dozen years ago. What better way to celebrate that collaboration then, than to invite him to take our first featured solo spot as Voices comes of age?
