Yes, indeed. We had a lovely time at Paddock Wood’s inaugural fringe with our latest show, and so did the audience, offering five-star reviews all round after laughing, clapping and singing along for the two hours of solid silliness we served up for ’em. We’re looking forward to meeting more PW people at the closing ceremony later this month…
…But before that we have our very own big fish to fry with our Voices Halloween Special on October 29th at the Mad Dog Brewery Taproom on the Pantiles. This spooky special will feature all the usual stuff you’ll find up for grabs at a Voices open mic – original words and music delivered by very talented people who know a good time when they see one – but with particular emphasis on the dark and dangerous, as befits the season of the witch. We are also delighted to be joined by special musical guests “Peas & Pods”, a cut down (or, perhaps, sawn off?) iteration of ever-popular trad and shanty pedlars TowRag, with Captain Peasbeard taking the helm. Good grief – you would have to be stark raving bonkers to miss out on all of that!
Date, time, links and all that malarky on the poster below, and we would strongly advise arriving early to secure open mic slots, as this one is likely to get rather busy. Oh, and on top of ALL THAT we’ve heard rumours that with a newly-installed pizza oven in situ, one can add “eat” to the “drink and be merry” attractions on offer. Woo-hooo!
