Broomsticks Primed for Take-off?

They had better be, because it’s Halloween Voices on Wednesday!

Those who came last year already know what a treat our Halloween special is, but for those new to the delights of Voices let’s just say you will not be disappointed. It’s our usual venue, Javabean cafe, and we will bid you velcome from 7:30 onward for an 8:00 kick-off of words, music and Halloween themed FUN. Fancy dress is not obligatory, but it’s an opportunity not to be missed if you do like dressing up and you will certainly not be alone. All the usual gubbins applies (instruments provided, 3-4 minute slots, backing tapes welcome, etc) and for those who aren’t sure of anything feel free to ask either here or on the Facebook event page.

IN OTHER NEWS: As advised in earlier dispatches we had our first full Tonbridge Voices last week and we cannot begin to tell you how brilliant it was. Wonderfully friendly and inclusive atmosphere (this is what makes Voices such fun – it’s like a party with showing off!), a great crowd, and the Old Fire Station did us proud in every respect. We have been invited back already and will have news on dates very soon. The gallery below will give you some idea of what went on, but as always we were rather remiss in taking photos because we were all too busy enjoying the show. But enough – that was last week and this is this week, and Halloween is the name of the game, so get your words and music ready and your makeup (ghoulish or otherwise) on and get ready for a MONSTA night of fun!

Oh PS: Apologies to those who joined us who are not featured in the gallery above. There was a bit of camera confusion in the second half, but we will make up for that next time round. Or possibly compound the problem given our appalling track record!
