Yes indeedy, we’re just a fortnight away from our next open mic extravaganza and ain’t we looking forward to it! As mentioned in previous dispatches it’s our our debut outing at The Beer Seller in Tonbridge, so we’re hoping for a good turnout of Voices Virgins to swell the ranks while equally keen to see what new delights our lovely regulars will be serving up. Variety, as we are always keen to point out, is the spice of life, and if Voices were a curry it would be a vindaloo at the very least. Can you handle it? Dare you handle it? Of course you can. For the romantically inclined (or the forgetful), a small reminder that Wednesday 12th is just two days shy of Valentine’s day. While we would urge all of our patrons to reserve the bulk of their energies for the big day itself (huffa-huffa, snert) it would be churlish of us not to acknowledge the significance of the date. If you want to woo or be wooed you can, in the words of Kenneth Williams, be as wooed as you like with us, but we also plan to cater equally for the incurably UNromantic, happy singletons and those who otherwise find themselves currently ‘between engagements’. Basically, whether loved up or laughing-it-up we aim to provide something for everyone, turning a sharp and sometimes sardonic eye on that crazy l’il thing called luuurve.
