In addition to co-hosting Voices events, Flitt and Folio get up to all sorts. Springing forth from their early days with the Gluten-free Trio (currently a duo with backing tracks), Pam and Ivor, under the watchful eye of their publisher-manager, Iona Smallpress, have been out and about at various events delivering their unique brand of wit and song to the masses. While yet to add weddings and bar mitzvahs to their list of engagements, there have been a wide variety of outings, ranging from fringe variety shows and panto, to music and art festivals, and other collaborative projects. They’ve also published their first booklet of poems, My Family and Other Curious Creatures (mostly humorous but with the odd serious note), which they shamelessly peddle at their gigs and via several online outlets while coordinating wider distribution and world domination.
Stepping out of their comfort zone of Kent and East Sussex, the dynamic duo are proud to announce their first off-piste gig at The Anchor at Walberswick, an award-winning inn and restaurant overlooking the dunes, beach huts and shimmering seas of the beautiful Suffolk coastline. The evening will offer the usual F&F blend of words and song, with an occasional knowing nod to Valentine’s Day, which precedes the event by a single turn of the globe.
